Position overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Marketing (f/m/d) to lead our marketing efforts and drive the growth of our company. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

This role requires a combination of creativity, leadership, analytical skills and a deep understanding of various marketing channels. In this pivotal role, we are searching for an individual who possesses not only the vision to lead but also the hands-on expertise to roll up their sleeves and execute independently. You will be in a unique position to lead the building and development of a team of 1-2 persons from the ground up. As a key member of our organization, you will be instrumental in shaping and cultivating a team that mirrors your commitment to excellence and innovation.

What can you expect?

Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Create, develop and manage the corporate strategic marketing plan (short and long)
  • Provide strategic guidance on brand development, positioning and messaging

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads, increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition
  • Organize regional marketing events, execute tradeshows, events, seminars for the identified markets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaigns across all channels including digital, social media content, events and more
  • Work across boundaries with different lines of business and with regional leaders to develop key strategies, plans and tactics to increase the organization’s image and reputation

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity, ensuring consistent branding across all marketing materials and touchpoints
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the CDMO market

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research (VOC campaigns) to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, optimize campaigns and measure ROI on marketing initiatives

Digital and Online Marketing:

  • Drive the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and online advertising, to increase online visibility and engagement
  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of online marketing

What should you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing roles, preferably within healthcare industry
  • High degree of self-initiative, clear prioritization, confident appearance in dealing with internal and external contacts
  • Experience in working in large, complex organization where working across boundaries and leading through influence are critical to success
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies and tactics, including digital and traditional channels
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Track record of successfully managing budgets and driving measurable results
  • Experience with marketing tools and CRM systems
  • Adept at staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies
  • Proficient in English and German (written and spoken)
