Your key responsibilities
This key role within Aenova Global Engineering organization will lead the Maintenance Reliability Functions, reporting to the Global Head of Engineering and serve as an active participant of the Global Operations team. This role will lead and drive the Reliability Engineering capability development and. The position focuses on building and implementing strategies to enhance reliability engineering across 14 global manufacturing sites. The goal is to advance tools, analytics, and standards, ensuring leadership in asset lifecycle management. This leader collaborates with global and local teams to maximize asset reliability, prevent unplanned downtimes, reduce operating costs, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Following systems and business processes are part of this role:
Reliability Engineering: working in a matrix organization and lead multi-disciplinary and multinational teams to categorize critical equipment and analyze failure modes; employ reliability best practices (reporting, KPI, lifecycle management, risk assessment, preventive maintenance, spare parts strategy, replacement, and refurbishment CAPEX strategies.
CMMS (Calibration Maintenance Management System) business process owner for Aenova’s SAP Plant Maintenance Roll-out, develop and deploy the global template in a multi- disciplinary team. Define and harmonize global standards for scheduling corrective and preventive maintenance, integrate with site’s master schedule. Define and operationalize spare parts strategy in partnership with local engineering and manufacturing teams.
Your profile
Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in asset lifecycle management within Pharma or a similar regulated industry.
Proven background in Engineering or Project Management roles.
Expertise in GMP manufacturing and both GMP and non-GMP utilities would be an advantage
Strong understanding of asset lifecycle data analytics, statistics, and methods.
Experience with enterprise tools like SAP PM for executing asset lifecycle strategies.
Excellent communication and conflict management skills, able to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Willingness to travel.
This role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, combining remote work with regular weekly on-site visits (depending on ongoing projects). It is nor required to move/live near Starnberg/Munich.
